Madhu made the stay for us. He was there every day, ready to help, and so friendly and welcoming. We loved the fresh coconut he gave us on arrival, and we already miss his smile. We spent three days at Heli's villa over Christmas. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and we could use the kitchen and lounge. The grounds are gorgeous, with a lovely pool where we could unwind to the birds and monkeys. It’s on a leafy backstreet away from the busy main areas, but a tuk tuk ride gets you anywhere nearby, and there always seemed to be one available. I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and hopefully we’ll return one day.

Madhu was a wonderful host. He went out of his way to help with breakfast, transport, and all the questions we had. The pool is amazing, and Unawatuna beach is just a 5-10 minute tuk tuk ride away. We were so glad we found Helis Villa and would highly recommend it.

We loved the breakfasts here, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Madu was lovely and very helpful, and the villa sits in beautiful, secluded grounds.

We had a really nice room by the pool, though it was a bit small. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s a great place.
