The gardens and outdoor areas were the highlight for me. You can relax among palms and flowers or cool off in the swimming pool, and the whole place has a peaceful feel. The Resident Villa in Unawatuna, Galle, Sri Lanka, is close to Unawatuna Beach and has a calm, tropical setting. Its rooms are spacious, with detailed woodwork, elegant furnishings, and modern amenities. The architecture draws on the area's heritage while keeping things comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive, helping with transport, excursions, and activities. There are Sri Lankan dishes made with fresh local ingredients as well as international food. A peaceful retreat if you're after a restful stay.

Our original hotel emailed to say it was full, so we looked for somewhere else at about 10 PM. The owners waited up for us, and we checked in around 11. The room and bathroom were clean, and the area felt safe and peaceful. The owners are a kind elderly couple. As we were leaving, Aunty gave us passion fruit. I'd definitely stay here again if I visited Galle.
