Saku Residence

Breakfast was a real treat, generous and varied, with fresh tropical fruit every morning and delicious homemade Sri Lankan dishes. Everything was made with care and gave us a taste of local food. The owner’s father lives nearby and was always ready to help, which made the stay easy and comfortable. Saku Residence is a calm, family-friendly place, and the pool looks lovely lit up in the evening. Our kids were thrilled when monkeys came into the garden. They came closer when given fruit, which brought them a lot of joy. Turtle Beach is within walking distance, so we could enjoy beach days without transport. It's quiet here but close to what you need. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return, especially with children.

Malith made sure everything was in place each day, and his father helps him run the villa. They served a wonderful breakfast every morning. The hospitality was hard to beat, and I hope I get lucky enough to stay at Saku Residence again on my next Sri Lanka trip. The villa is less than five minutes from turtle beach, around five minutes by tuk tuk from other beaches, and under 20 minutes by tuk tuk from Galle Fort. Its garden is gorgeous, landscaped with a lot of love and good taste, and the swimming pool with spa jets was just right. The villa was exactly what anyone could hope for. From the day we booked, Malith helped arrange our whole trip around Sri Lanka, from transport to day trips, even before our stay. The villa is very, very clean and the WiFi works like a gem. If you're lucky, you might spot monkeys while having breakfast.

Malith was a wonderful host who helped us throughout our Sri Lanka stay, even after we had left Saku residence. He arranged tours and transfers at good prices, and they were always excellent. The villa is beautiful and in a stunning spot, just five minutes from a beach where turtles swim close to shore. We also saw monkeys, mongoose, lots of different birds, and lizards in the garden. Couldn't recommend it more.

Malith and his father were so warm and welcoming, and Malith handled practical things like arranging a vehicle. The spot is peaceful and well placed, with the road, beach, and restaurants all close by. Staying at Saku Residence was a wonderful experience, a perfect place.
