It's such a peaceful spot right beside the river. We found the food really good and well worth the price, and the pool was very clean. The rooms are spacious and have modern amenities. A relaxing place to stay if you're after comfort and good value.

Green Island Hotel has a special setting, close to the beach and right by the river, so you get both the sea and nature. I enjoyed the food every day, especially the fresh seafood and Sri Lankan curry, though there are international dishes too. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and ready to help. I felt at home, but in paradise. I'll tell my friends in Russia to stay here when they visit Sri Lanka. I'll definitely come back here again!

The owner was welcoming and helped us throughout our gathering, and the staff were friendly. The food was tasty, especially the battered prawns and pork stew. The fried rice was 10/10 too. The pool was clean and prices were very reasonable. Recommended to anyone, and I hope to visit again soon.

Green Island Hotel, Waikkala, was a great spot for a group gathering. The calm, quiet setting made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. We were really pleased with the delicious food, which exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the whole property was clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend it, and we're already looking forward to another visit.
