I booked through booking dot com on the morning of the 25th, and the owner accepted and confirmed it. But when I arrived, the person managing the place said every room was occupied. I was left without anywhere to stay and had to find other accommodation. Luckily I was alone, so I could manage with a small room. The mobile number listed on booking dot com doesn't work either. If you're booking through booking dot com, don't bother with this place. The owner seems like a coward and doesn't even want to talk to a customer. This was the worst booking experience I've ever had.

A very friendly family hosted us here. It's close to both Weligama town and the beach, and Mirissa is about a 10-minute Uber ride away. I'd recommend it to everyone.

The hospitality was great, and the Sri Lankan dishes were authentic. It's a quiet, nice family-run place to stay in Weligama, Sri Lanka, in the southern part of the country with lovely beaches. I've visited and highly recommend it.

The family were really welcoming, and thanks for renting us the bike. The owner's daughter can translate since he doesn't speak English. It's a quiet, green place away from the main road, though there's some dust from the reconstruction happening now. The saddest part of our stay was learning that the owner has kept a turtle for years in a small well, where it sees no sun or waves. It feels like a jail. That was really upsetting, and I hope they set the poor thing free into the ocean.

It's quiet, locally owned, and very non-commercial. It's really sad that the only internet that works here is the data you bring yourself. There isn't a good excuse for the poor Wi-Fi. Rooms are advertised with Wi-Fi, but it just doesn't work.
