Maybe it was because we came in the off season, but the double room didn’t feel worth the price. Breakfast was poor, and the kitchen looked unsanitary. We waited about 30 minutes for breakfast, then had to ring the bell around 8:45am. The manager came out of his room looking as if we’d woken him, which made the whole thing awkward. The place felt disorganized and the customer service was poor. He also still owes us 20 rupees. It’s only pennies, but it says a lot about how things were handled. I can’t recommend it. Stay at The Spindrift instead!!!

We had a spacious, clean double room, a comfortable bed, and an excellent bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The one change I’d make is to add soundproofing to the front window. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re in weligama.

The dorm room was clean and very functional, with a really good bathroom, better than the ones I get in aus. The staff were probably the most welcoming I’ve ever met, and they seem willing to help with anything. So much value for such a reasonable price. I rate this place highly.

I don’t usually give less than four stars, but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. The space looked nice and clean on arrival, yet the toilet and shower stall were dirty and there were cobwebs in the room. Service was poor and there was little attention to detail. We also waited half an hour for someone to show up and serve breakfast. The breakfast itself was really terrible, as the photo shows.
