Olive Bungalow

Chef Kumar's food was delicious and deserves a special mention. Shiva and Naveen also looked after us really well and made everything comfortable. We had a memorable, very pleasant stay and would love to come back.

We spent one night with the lovely team at Olive Bungalow by Jetwing. It was so nice to sit outside among the gardens and enjoy the peaceful evening setting. The cottage is elegant, with tasteful art and furnishings, and Shiva, our Butler, and his assistant Naveen were very accommodating.

Shiva was wonderful when a family member became seriously ill on our second night. Even though it was late, he contacted a doctor, arranged medication, and made sure special meals were prepared to help with recovery. We really appreciated how responsive and caring he was. We had booked the whole bungalow for a family holiday, and the staff were friendly, flexible, and understood what good hospitality means. They were happy to tailor menus and did what they could to make us comfortable. The villa felt like a big step up from other estate bungalows we have stayed in. It's a great setting for hikers, nature lovers, and families travelling across generations. We only wish we had booked more than two nights.

Narita, the hotel dog, joined us on our morning walks, which was such a sweet, memorable touch. We also loved the peaceful surroundings and stunning view, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Mr. Gayan Withanage was the General Manager during our visit on May 22nd and 23rd. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially the Head Chef and Mr. Shiva Kumar, who were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious at every meal. We enjoyed the whole stay and hope to return.
