The staff were welcoming and helpful, and everything in our room worked properly, including the hot water. We stayed for two days in room no 4 on the 3rd floor, and it was exceptionally clean. We definitely recommend this place.

The rooms cost less than nearby hotels and the customer service was good. Still, they weren't well maintained or properly cleaned.

The hot water wasn't working when we visited. The manager said lightning had caused the problem, but he didn't let us know until we arrived in the evening.

The view over Welimada town was nice, but the place felt like a ghost hotel, and I can't recommend it. There was no one at reception when I arrived, and the washrooms were broken. Staff were unfriendly, the food was poor, and the services overall were below par. It all gave the impression of poor training and supervision, with a clear lack of management. I hope the management deals with these issues promptly to protect the hotel's reputation.

The chef is lively, the food made to order is quite good, and the staff are friendly. The wait wasn't too long, parking was easy, and they stay open late. The original building looks a bit cheap and worn, though. Things across the road seem a little more inviting.
