Whenever my wife and I travel to Lithuania, this is the part of the trip I look forward to most. I've been coming from the UK every year for several years, and I'm due back again this year. Being surrounded by such beautiful nature and all that peace and quiet makes me happier than anywhere else in the world.

We only stayed for one night, but we'll definitely be back. The rooms are modern, clean, and cozy, and the hosts are very friendly. It's right by the river, with plenty of inviting outdoor spots to sit, grill, and enjoy the nature. You can stay in a camper or tent, or rent a room, and boats, canoes, and other activities are available to rent. It's popular with fishermen. We met a few groups staying there, and everyone was friendly. The place feels in tune with the vibe of Rusne island.

A great escape from the city, with a few little beaches along the Pakalnė river nearby. Boat trips to Kuršių marios are possible too. The owners can provide really good quality food if you order it. I highly recommend the place :)
