The fire in the window looked so inviting on that bitterly cold October day, so we went in. We were quickly told off by the elderly gentleman looking after the place. He said children weren’t allowed inside and that we had to leave our sleeping two-year-old in the pushchair outside, where we could see him through the window. We were passing by the castle view guest house, but that welcome was the opposite of warm.

The little place is cute, and the broth was amazing. I’d definitely recommend it.
