We had to leave immediately in the middle of the night. We’d checked and locked the door before going to sleep, but a man came into our room while we were asleep. I don’t know if someone meant to rob us or if they simply have keys to other rooms. The room was a long way away, there was no elevator, and the hotel is in a building with a shop. The sofa was dirty and smelled of urine, the bed was uncomfortable, the air conditioner didn’t work, the windows wouldn’t open, and the TV channels wouldn’t connect.

The photos made the rooms look nice, but it was very unhygienic in person. I found an empty tube for sensual play, the oven was far from clean, and there was mold in the shower. Water leaked onto the shower floor, and the shower room smelled of cigarettes. I had to make my own bed, though at least I was given bed linen. Definitely my last time there.

The room design was the one nice part, and the sheets were clean. Everything else made this one of my worst hotel experiences. There were strange smells as soon as we entered the building, and the carpets in the room and corridor were dirty. Some bulbs kept flickering, and the towels were in such bad shape that we were glad we had brought our own. The SPA changing room was dirty, the jacuzzi was cold, and the sauna smelled oddly of cleaner or bleach. One sauna wasn’t working. The staff were lying around by the massage rooms, playing on their phones, and the person at the desk wasn’t very friendly. We’d have given it 0/10. Sadly, it was too late to find another hotel. Hope no one else has this experience.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the room had a nice view of the woods, though the bedroom smelled strange. The rest of the stay was the worst experience we’ve had, despite traveling around Lithuania, Europe, and the world. I wouldn’t recommend this place to non-locals, especially people of color. The host at the front desk was very unfriendly and impolite, didn’t speak English, and made us feel unwelcome. We’d booked a suite for four adults, but there were only two large beds and one small child’s bed, and none had been made. We had to make the beds ourselves, and the fourth person was expected to sleep on a couch. We felt cheated. The parking area felt unsafe and deserted. Breakfast didn’t start until 9:30, had very few choices, and food was rationed according to how many people were in the room. When we asked for another slice of bread, the host made rude faces. She was extra cordial to the “local” guests, which made us feel even less welcome. She also said things to us in Russian in a very unfriendly tone. Luckily, we don’t understand the language.

That Georgian soup is a must-try. We had lunch there and they even started a fire to cook our chicken breast stuffed with garlic and bacon. The food is made to order, and everything we tried was fantastic, from borscht to potato pancakes. It was the best meal I had during my 15 days in Vilnius, and the best-tasting food we’d had in ages. A big lunch for two with starters cost under 10€. It’s amazingly inexpensive and well worth going out from the city center for.
