Cathedral Apart-Hotel

The hotel was clean and well maintained, but the noise made it very hard to rest. Sound insulation is poor, and when the place is full you can hear everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms. There’s also no porter or security staff at night, which is something to consider if safety matters to you. We were wrongly accused of making noise. Then my private phone number was given to another hotel without my consent, and they called me more than ten times at 5 a.m. That was a serious invasion of privacy and completely unacceptable. I was traveling with my boyfriend; alone, I would have been extremely frightened. Because of the lack of night security, the noise, and the way our personal information was handled, I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel, especially for solo travelers.

The staff were incredibly helpful and quickly arranged a taxi to the airport for me. My room was warm and cozy, the bed was really good, and both the bathroom and shower were clean. I’d definitely come back. Ačiū!

We were supposed to arrive today for three nights with family, already prepaid through Booking, but had to cancel because of family issues. Even though we let the hotel know late in the evening, they canceled the booking for free. They were very understanding, and I appreciate that. When we make it to Vilnius, we’ll definitely stay here. Thanks!

Agné was the one person who eventually took charge of our serious issue and found a solution I was satisfied with, though it took two days. The first star is for the location, right beside Cathedral Square and within walking distance of the old town, restaurants, cafés, and the Opera. There’s a coffee machine with capsules, a microwave, a fridge, and a TV that connects to Netflix. Self check-in was efficient. The beds are uncomfortable, and there’s no hairdryer. The incident was handled very unprofessionally by the cleaning and online reception staff. I’ve never experienced customer service this unacceptable. Cleanliness and service need major improvement, or there could be legal consequences.
