Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including cheeses, vegetables, fruit, breads, and desserts. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the hotel staff were always smiling. It’s right in the Old Town, close to the Cathedral, Bell Tower, Gediminas Castle, and the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. Highly recommended!

A decent, inexpensive hotel right in central Vilnius, near plenty of bars and restaurants. There’s private guest parking behind the building for 25 euros a day. Breakfast had a good range, though it was a mixed bag: some of the food was a little stale, and at 17 euros I thought it was expensive. The rooms are clean, but if yours faces the street, be ready for noise.

The main problem was the balcony light. There’s no way to switch it off at night, and it shone into the room like bright car headlights, disturbing our sleep. It’s a serious nuisance and management should fix it. Apart from that, the hotel has a great location for exploring, with spacious, very clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of options, and the staff were extremely polite and always ready to help. Great service overall, but sorting out that light would make the stay much better.

There’s public parking at Šeimyniškių St. 30A for anyone arriving by car. It’s secure, open 24/7, and much cheaper than leaving your vehicle near the avenue. Congress Avenue Hotel itself made a great base for exploring Vilnius, right on Gedimino Avenue and within a short walk of cafés and museums. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and breakfast balanced local dishes with familiar classics.
