The staff were a real highlight, especially the breakfast team, who were professional and kind, with service on a par with Radisson Blu Hotel. The location is also excellent for walking around Vilnius and reaching the main sights. My room was clean, and the bed was premium quality and very comfortable for sleeping. As guests from the Mediterranean, though, we found the room cold. I understand the heating season had ended in your region and that habits differ, just as Baltic tourists swimming in our seas in May seems unusual to us. Still, being given a fan in a cold room felt paradoxical, as if a standard practice had taken priority over guests actually feeling cold. Breakfast was the weakest part. It was a limited selection in a cold, uninviting basement room with no windows. Compared with ibis Styles, it felt like science fiction, and the green Ibis is on another level entirely. It’s a pity, because improving breakfast could raise the impression of the hotel a lot, especially with such good staff.
