I was visiting a friend when my original accommodation fell through at the last minute, and the host was fantastic about sorting things out quickly. I was moved to a different room with a kitchenette, so ask for that one if you’re staying longer than a day. The room was perfectly clean by my standards. There’s no wardrobe, which was a bit odd, so I had to use my suitcase for everything. No AC either, but the big fan kept the temperature comfortable, even if it was a little noisy. There’s a Jacuzzi, a large round bed, and a big shower, so it could be a great fit for a couple.

I’d look for somewhere else. The apartment’s photos don’t match how it actually looks, and the room wasn’t very clean. There were old fries left among the decorative stones by the bathtub, and a drawer had insect spray labeled for cockroaches and bedbugs, or something like that. The bed mattress was worn and sagging. At least there was a refrigerator, coffee machine, and some basic hygiene products.
