Old Town Trio Hotel

The staff really made the stay for me. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and when I needed a haircut, they pointed me to a nearby place that was brilliant. Breakfast was included and had a surprisingly big selection for a hotel this size. The shower was very powerful and refreshing. I stayed two nights after a loooooong trip and was happy with the value. The room was basic but did the job. I had room 217, which was a bit tired but clean and tidy, with a bathroom, double bed, desk and chair. One side of the bed was against the wall, and it was surprisingly comfortable for one person, though possibly awkward for two. There was a fridge in the desk, but it was noisy, so I switched it off. The TV isn’t smart and is all in Lithuanian, in case that bothers you. I’d definitely stay again.

The communal bathroom and shower weren’t my favorite, although they were clean, well kept and nicely designed. Otherwise, nothing bad to say. The rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so sweet and helpful. We came in the morning just to leave our bags, but got into our room before check-in time. After a 10-hour bus ride, the beds were so comfortable that we fell asleep in minutes, and I have insomnia. Honestly, Old Town Trio Hostel was even better than the 3-star hotel we stayed at next. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others :)

The room, breakfast and location were all nice. Most of the reception staff were nice too, except for one woman. We asked her for another blanket because the room felt a bit cold, and she looked very, very annoyed at such a simple request...

I don’t get where the good reviews are coming from... The bed seemed clean, the room was large, and it was close to the old town. But the bathroom wasn’t clean, the TV remote was disgusting, and the carpet was filthy. The fridge was moldy too. The curtains didn’t cover the whole window, so it stayed bright all night. There was noise from the street and from upstairs. Were there night-active baby elephants being kept in a room?! The reception staff were cold and unfriendly.
