Hotel Dimmer

The wellness area is on the small side, but we enjoyed the sauna, Turkish steam bath, and relaxation room. The steam bath had a noticeable smell, and the music in both wellness areas was too loud for us. A quieter volume, or no music, would have made it more relaxing. Breakfast had a surprisingly broad selection of fresh food, from pastries, fish, bread rolls, spreads, honey, milk, yogurt, tea, coffee, and fruit to other options. It was all fresh and well prepared, though €20 per person felt pricey to us. We usually expect breakfast to cost around €10-15 per person. The hotel is a little remote, but easy to get to by car. Kayaking and electric bike rentals are available nearby. Parking seemed variable, and we felt lucky to find a space without trouble. I forgot to mention this to the owner when we left. Our room was quiet, with very thick windows that kept out most street and outside noise. There was even insulation tape around the door frame. The box spring beds were comfortable and good quality, though firm. The spotless cleanliness really stood out to me, including corners, edges, and ledges. I have a dust mite allergy, so I pay close attention to that, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Check-in was smooth, and we were warmly welcomed and given a clear, friendly explanation of the hotel and its facilities. We had a very pleasant stay. The service was friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the cleanliness excellent. With a few small changes, it could be even better.
