The beach is only a short walk away, which is a nice advantage. But the apartment’s awkward layout was a problem: you have to pass through one bedroom to reach the other, and there are no curtains in the walk-through bedroom. There’s a step down at the entrance, then the kitchen is raised again, which is really inconvenient. The bathroom looks fine from a distance, but it’s old up close. The bath takes up a lot of room, and when you shower, it doesn’t keep the water in, leaving the whole floor wet. If you’re after an authentic old USSR style housing experience, this may be the place for you.
