The room was roomy enough, with plenty of drawers, but nowhere to hang clothes. The bed was really uncomfortable. Food was edible, though nothing special, and there’s no lift, so expect lots of stairs. It was too noisy to keep the window open at night. I wouldn’t stay again.

Our stay felt disappointing from the start. Reception was cold and unfriendly, and the staff handed over the key fobs without a word of explanation. When I pointed out that we had a large suitcase and there was no lift, the receptionist spoke down to me and said, “It says everywhere, you should know that.” Nobody offered to help. The building is old, with thin walls and glass, so noise from other rooms and the street carries through. Around 8:30 one morning, a cleaner opened our door without knocking, then left without apologizing. It made us feel our privacy and security weren’t being respected. Breakfast was much the same limited selection each day. The staff member there watched how much people took and visibly seemed annoyed, which made us uncomfortable even though breakfast was included. Check-out was just as impersonal: no thanks or question about our stay, only a curt “all done” when we returned the fobs. The location is okay, with buses and trams nearby, but getting to the old town takes some travel. The hotel has little to offer, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you expect friendly service or basic hospitality.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was okay, though nothing outstanding. It’s a decent budget hotel with a good location, just not a prime one. I thought it was overpriced.

Parking depends on luck: you might find a space right in front, at 2€h from 8-20. Otherwise, hotel parking costs 7€ for day or night. I got lucky and parked out front. The room was clean, with hot water, and the price was decent. Wi-Fi, location, and breakfast were good too. But the walls seem practically nonexistent. You hear conversations and other noises, and you have to be pretty drunk to sleep through it. If you value sleep, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
