There were electronic locks on the doors, the TV worked, and we had candy, cookies, tea, coffee, warm water and a microwave. The rooms were just about okay for two, with a bed that was big enough but not cozy, and a blanket that didn’t cover both of us. The heater wasn’t working, and there was a cigarette smell in the room. The location is handy for both the train and bus stations, with several food options close by. Trying to contact them through the hotel booking site was impossible, and they charged us more city tax than the booking had stated.

The bathroom fan was clogged with dust and didn’t work. With gaps between the tiles, mold may have been growing underneath, and after a shower the whole room stayed humid for hours. The floor could have been cleaner, too. There was a mold smell in the bathroom, and the bed, blanket and pillows smelled terrible. We brought our own sheets and pillows, but I regretted staying both nights. I’ve never had a room feel this dirty. The bed was hard, with springs you could feel, and its 1.2m width may be too narrow for some couples. The entrance was through a passageway that smelled of urine. Recent reviews on another website mention mold or poor hygiene too. I suspect the rooms may have been left damp and unheated in winter because energy is expensive. This feels like a health risk, not just a matter of comfort, and the low price doesn’t make up for it. The owners should redo the tilework, improve ventilation, replace the mattress and sheets, and clean more thoroughly before taking more guests.

We paid 40 euros for one night, and to me that’s a lot for what we got. The double bed was only half a bed, with very old, uncomfortable mattress and bedsheets that must have been white a hundred years ago. The room was tiny, especially around the shower. There was a really bad smell inside, too. Pasha, the hotel owner, was drunk from Saturday morning until Sunday evening. You and your colleague were quite friendly with us, sorry, but we were still a bit disgusted. Other guests say this “hotel” is great value, but I don’t agree.

There are restaurants, shops and ATMs right by the hotel, and Central Station is close. There’s also a small courtyard parking lot. The price was reasonable and included breakfast. The place was clean and cozy, with a room big enough for two. The owner was kind and fair, even with a very last-minute booking. I had a very good experience and would recommend it.
