The staff made things easy throughout, with helpful directions and recommendations, and a personal feeling to the service. Check-in and check-out were smooth. We also enjoyed breakfast before heading out to explore. The clean, comfortable rooms were well maintained and had what we needed for a relaxing visit. They're not especially modern, but their traditional character suits the historic surroundings and gives the hotel plenty of personality. Staying at Old Riga Hotel in Vecriga made it easy to walk to the sights, restaurants, and bars, all just a few minutes away. It's a comfortable, charming base that felt like good value, and I'd happily stay again.

The rooms were very clean, the location was perfect, and the service stood out. Staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. Special thanks to the female staff for their kindness and thoughtful attention. I had an excellent stay at Old Riga Hotel and highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location is top tier. But this felt like a one-star place. There were odd stains on the curtains, walls, bed frame, mattress, and towels, and the entrance and hallway had a nasty smell. The rooms smelled of sweat. Beds were uncomfortable, there was no AC, and the walls were paper thin. I could hear neighbors talking or walking in the hall, and every time someone opened or closed a door.

The hotel runs fully on a self-service basis, and getting in and out was easy. The room was incredibly clean, cozy, and quiet. Best location in the city, with the best bars just 10 meters away 🙈😎.
