Breakfast had a good range of options and was very good. The staff were fairly friendly by Latvian standards. It's a three-star hotel, so I don't think you can expect more than what's offered. The rooms are basic, and there's no air conditioning, though in Latvia's climate that hardly matters. The location and facilities are good, and downtown is about a 15-20 minute walk away.

We had a pleasant stay, and the hotel is highly recommended. It's decorated more like an apartment than a hotel, and our room was spacious, as was the bathroom, which had a bath and a window. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The hotel is in the city centre, close to the Old Town. The only small drawback was having to wait a little for hot water, but it didn't spoil the stay.

The room was good value, and I'd stay here again if I were in the area. It's clean, reasonably well maintained, and close to the city centre while still fairly quiet. An above-average budget hotel, with friendly, helpful multilingual reception staff.

The old town is a 10-15 minute walk away, so there was no need for a taxi. There are two kebab shops on the same street. The hotel is friendly and affordable, with a good location, clean rooms, and very clean, well-equipped bathrooms. There's also an extra heater in the room.

We got separate beds instead of a double, which was a shame, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and spoke English fairly well. Breakfast was basic but perfectly edible. Most Riga attractions are within walking distance, especially the old town. The hotel could do with a makeover, but it's comfortable and works well for a weekend getaway.
