We got in to Rija at 10 pm and left at 7:30 the next morning, so this was a very short stay. The place is 3 km from the airport. On the way in, the taxi took a long route and charged €18.40 for what should have been a 3 km ride. The woman arranged a taxi for the morning, which was great. It took under 10 minutes to reach the airport, and the fare was €4.60. The bed was rough, though: no mattress, just a hard base with boards that creaked whenever we moved. There wasn’t a top sheet, and we had to turn the duvet around because it only covered half the bed.

The upstairs accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the food was very good. There’s a Russian sauna, and it’s a great place for private parties.

The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor serving Latvian food.

The room was pretty average. The staff were nice, though, and being close to the airport was handy.
