Bella Riga Hotel with Self-Check in

It was hard to rest at night, with other guests running and shouting in the corridors. The beds were hard, the breakfast was poor with no hot food, and the price didn't feel justified by the quality. When we came in, fruit flies were already flying around in an unventilated room. There was a banana peel under the cupboard, so we left the cupboards open to air them out. The bathroom was very dirty.

At around 12pm there were loud drunk guests laughing and running around, including children. I know they can't control the other guests, but I won't come back. The only warm food was toasted bread, and there was coffee. The cookies tasted old, like they might have been left out for a week. There was also a black, rotten banana peel on the floor with a bunch of fruit flies. I don't know how they missed it. It must have taken a while to turn black, maybe two weeks.

It was my first time staying somewhere with self check-in. The room was nice, though I missed having air conditioning since the weather was so warm. Breakfast was 5/10.

Getting into the hotel was all contactless: fill in a form, then head to your room. Checkout was odd, though, as there was no information about how to do it. I stayed two nights. Breakfast was okay, with toast, butter, cheese, meats and coffee. The room and beds were okay too, nothing special, and the beds were a little small for me at 187 cm. When I lay comfortably, my feet stuck over the edge. They were really squeaky as well. A good place for a few nights, but nothing especially special.
