We booked this for our family and went to the hostel twice, but nobody answered the door either time or picked up the phone, even though a light was on inside. We got there around 4pm and still couldn’t get in by midnight, so we had to find somewhere else to sleep in Riga. Never, ever stay here!
For the price, this is a nice hostel with a good room for a family. There are two shops nearby and a good place to eat dinner. It’s a bit far to walk to the city centre, but a taxi costs just 4 Eur.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We booked one night for nine people and sent a message a few days before arriving to confirm, but got no reply. At the property, the doors were locked and nobody answered the phone. We left for the show we had tickets for, then came back to exactly the same situation. We could see a light on inside, and knocked loudly and shouted, but nobody let us in. We had to stay somewhere else. Never stay here!
Don't trust!!!
The rooms get cold when it’s -15°C outside, so I’d only consider staying here in the warmer months.
