ibis Riga Centre Hotel

Customer service was great, and the hotel was clean. The staff were willing to help, and it’s easy to get around from its central location. The beds were quite small for someone on the larger side, breakfast was okay but could have more variety, and the Internet kept cutting out. I’ll be back.

The room was clean, warm, and quiet, and the shower worked perfectly. Check-in and checkout were easy, and they let me leave my suitcase in the lobby since my flight wasn’t until the afternoon. It’s a typical Ibis hotel, within easy walking distance of Riga old town, public transport, and shops and restaurants. My only small issue was the so-called double bed: it was two single mattresses pushed together, and they slid apart during the night, so I had to put them back in place.

Breakfast was the surprise highlight. It was more like lunch, with a rich, varied, delicious buffet. The hotel is close to the train and bus stations, and you can walk to all the city’s attractions. I always enjoy staying at Ibis hotels. The design is simple and functional, but the room feels warm and cozy, and the bed is super comfortable.

The rooms are good, though they sometimes need minor repairs. For the price, it’s a very good place to stay in Riga. The hotel is conveniently located near Riga’s main railway station and just a couple of minutes from the Old City. The staff, both during the stay and beforehand, were friendly and helpful, and answered all our questions quickly and politely.
