Hotel Konventa Sēta Keystone Collections

The cold made the city look stunning, with snow and a frozen river, though it was minus 22 during our February visit, so pack for serious winter weather. For what we paid, the hotel was tremendous value, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a fridge stocked with minibar items and chocolate bars. The water pressure in room 120 was weak. We told reception and someone came to check, but it didn’t improve. Breakfast next door in the bar had a very good selection, tasted great, and felt like good value. The old town location is handy for restaurants and bars. We came for a three-night first visit to Riga and would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, with fresh, tasty food, good quality ingredients, and a nicely presented mix of sweet and savory choices. You’re right in Riga’s Old Town, within walking distance of the main sights. Our room at Konventa Sēta Hotel felt warm and relaxing, with high ceilings, wooden floors, and a bright, cozy design. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless and well cared for, and the modern minimalist bathroom was clean too. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Riga. 🌿✨

You can step out and reach the heart of the Old City at St Peters in about 30 seconds. It’s hard to beat that location, especially since we weren’t dealing with street noise or giving up quality. Our Superior Double Room was large, clean, modern, and well maintained, and quiet at night, which mattered to us. Breakfast at “Two More Beers” had lots of choices, and the Cruffin shop beside reception was quality too. The reception team handled check-in and checkout efficiently and were very friendly. We’ve just come back from four nights in Riga and would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I was there for just two nights on a work trip, but I really liked the place. The room was big, bright, spotless, and had everything I needed. The bed and pillows were comfy, and I had no noise issues. It’s ideally placed for walking straight into the old town, with sights and plenty of restaurants nearby. Check-in was easy, and the woman at reception, I think her name was Ana, was helpful with advice on where to eat. Her tips were very good. Breakfast is offered, but I didn’t get a chance to try it, so I can’t speak to it. I’d use this hotel again if I’m back in the area.
