The room was a little small, but mostly because the bed was wonderfully huge. The bath and shower were good, though there wasn't a bin in the bedroom. The private sauna was a great extra, but it struggled to get much above 40-50°. Its bench was fitted at such a wonky angle that it felt like you could faceplant into the coals. There was an adorable fat dog at reception and a great breakfast buffet. A couple of nice restaurants are a little way off, but the neighbourhood generally didn't seem nice. Staff were okay, and I wouldn't drink the water. Four stars for a comfortable stay overall.

For our special anniversary, we booked a room with a sauna and bubble bath, and it exceeded our expectations. The bath was huge and the sauna was great. I asked for decorations, and what they delivered was really good, giving the room a romantic feel. We paid a lot less than the next option we could find with the same extras. I totally recommend Autosole Motel here in Riga.

The breakfast was really good, and we'd come back. We stayed in the main building, which was so dated it felt like stepping back in time. The bed was the biggest we've ever seen. With mirrors everywhere, the place felt a bit like a brothel in some ways.

Rip-off. They told me no standard room was available and charged me for the more expensive junior suite. Staff said they'd spoken to the boss about refunding the difference, but in the morning they refused.

For the price, it was quite comfortable and cozy. The staff were polite and helpful. There's a bus stop on the main street nearby, with buses that can get you to the airport in 15 minutes or old town Riga in 10.
