Redstone Boutique Hotel

The staff were the best part for me, so friendly, caring, and always ready to help. Even though the rooms are peaceful, you're right in the middle of Riga, with sights, cafes, and restaurants all around. Our room was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, and had what we needed for a good rest. My one suggestion is to provide a larger blanket for the double bed, since ours had two small ones. Everything else was perfect.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable enough, and I enjoyed the stay. I liked the self-service setup too: enter a code and pick up the room key from a little box. There was a fridge, though no minibar, and it would've been nice to have some still water in the room. The hotel is in a great location.

The room had plenty of space and a fantastic view, plus two TVs, built-in sound, and a great bathroom with a big tub and separate shower. Wi-Fi was fast too. Redstone Boutique Hotel is in Riga Old Town, close to restaurants and souvenir shops. Taxis can't drive right up because the street is closed to traffic, but the public square is less than a block away, so it's a short walk. After coming from Stockholm, where a similar hotel would've cost about twice as much, the price felt incredible. Riga was charming, and I'd stay at this same hotel when I come back. Highly recommend it.

The only real drawback was the room getting a bit warm. I couldn't turn the heat down myself, so I had to open a window. It was fairly quiet outside at night, though, so it didn't cause much trouble. Otherwise, this is a fresh, clean hotel, just 50-100 meters from food, wine, and beer spots around Riga Old Town. Breakfast was great, prepared by the good chefs at the restaurant downstairs, S:t Petrus. Hard to imagine a better place to stay in the old town.
