Tribe Riga City Centre Hotel

The rooms are a good size and the staff were friendly, but I had to change rooms twice because the shower flooded the room or bathroom. The mattresses are hard, and the rooms got far too warm for sleeping. It was mid-spring with temperatures around 20-22°C outside, yet the air conditioning wasn’t working at all and they hadn’t turned it on. The staff were very nice but couldn’t fix the air-conditioning, and the fan they gave me barely worked. For a four-star hotel, I expect the air conditioning to work. We pay a good fee to stay here, so trying to save money this way makes no sense. It was a real disappointment. The hotel is generally an okay four-star place.

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived, and I’m grateful to all the hotel staff. Ms. Raina and Ms. Evelina deserve a special thank you for the brilliant service. The rooms were large and very clean, the spa area pleasant, and breakfast tasty. The location was great too, about a 15-minute walk from the center. Thanks for a wonderful stay and an amazing experience.

The spa downstairs was lovely, but plan ahead if you want to use it. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., reception needs 30 minutes’ notice to turn on the saunas, and you can’t go in after checking out. I loved this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat. It’s clean and stylish, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast that catered to different dietary restrictions. The neighborhood feels fancy and safe for walking around at night, and there are lots of bars and restaurants within a five-minute walk.

We got an upgrade, and the room was comfortable and in good condition. Breakfast didn’t have a huge selection, but the food was replenished often. Everyone we saw at reception, the bar, housekeeping, and the restaurant was friendly. The hotel’s location is really convenient.
