Guest House Pilskalni

This is the place we like best.

The bedrooms are roomy, and having a shower and toilet in each one was just right for us. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, even better than it looked in the photos. Outside, the grounds are cared for, with lovely nature and a clean lake where you can boat or simply unwind. The hostess was warm and attentive. We had such a good stay, and we'll be back! 🌞🌿

We came away grateful to the caring, attentive hosts for such a lovely break. The house is huge, clean, and cozy, and there's plenty of room to enjoy the well-kept garden, forest, and lake. A beautiful spot in Latvia for a proper rest, we'd happily recommend it.

We spent our time in a spacious, peaceful place, with plenty to do nearby. There are Gauja routes close by, and Valmiera for shopping or Cēsis if you want to see somewhere beautiful. For a day outdoors, you can fish from the lake with a boat, swim at the comfortable beach, relax in the gazebo's shade, or use the sauna and dip in the pond. There's also a forest and barbecues for grilling. Best of all, Inara and Didzis have made this place feel like a little paradise and care for it with so much love. Thank you, both.
