Coming from Kauai, Hawaii, we’ll be back. This was a life-changing experience if you’re open to it, romantic and spiritual, and worth every penny. The team were friendly and accommodating from beginning to end, and the amenities were as described. I’d recommend a cabin bungalow and a camel ride into the sunset. When we arrived, we found ourselves thanking our higher power for being here. You won’t regret the experience!

I wouldn’t come back. Communication was poor, and when we arrived the place was dark and empty. The food wasn’t good and the staff were below par. My driver got lost and ended up stuck in a ditch. Honestly, don’t waste your time.

The dinner was very good, the setting was lovely, and our quad guide, who also served as our waiter, was very nice and did his best. But the day was a big disappointment and left us feeling like tourists who’d been ripped off. For a family of four it cost €775. We’d booked for New Year’s with two families, nine adults, two hours of quad biking and buggies, cocktails, an hour on camels and dinner. On the day, they pushed our reservation to 4pm, then kept us waiting until 4:40. The buggies were in such bad shape I was surprised they made it through the ride. It was cut short because it was getting dark, and the camel ride was shortened for the same reason. The bar had closed, so there were no cocktails. Instead they brought an ice bucket in the dark with two bottles of wine, some beers and a bottle of Coke, for €198.

The pool is a dream, and the food is very good. It’s a lovely hotel in the desert for some peace and relaxation, with a very friendly crew. They put a lot of care into sustainability. Highly recommended.
