The hosts made this stay feel more like visiting family than staying at a guesthouse. Khadija and her husband Mohammed were warm, caring, and always up for a chat or ready to help. Khadija speaks great English, and I think she said she'd spent some time in the US. My girlfriend and I felt safe and looked after there. Set above Azrou in a quiet spot, Atgal Maison d’hôtes has a lovely view over the valley, especially at sunset. It's on the road toward the national park, so it's handy for hiking and exploring the forest, where you might spot monkeys. You'll want a car to get there, though parking was easy and felt safe. Walking downhill to the village for dinner or a stroll took us around 25-30 minutes, and a taxi back up was easy to find for about 7 dirham. We slept really well in the comfortable, quiet room. The beds were cozy, and the shutters made it properly dark at night. Dinner was fresh, full of flavor, and very affordable. They also washed, dried, and folded our laundry for just a few dirham, which was very kind. Wi-Fi was fine for messages and quick searches, but not especially strong for work. Maroc Telecom had great reception there, so a local SIM is useful if you need a steadier connection. It's a peaceful place close to nature, with good food and kind people. We left relaxed and happy, though a little sad to go.

The friendly service and the parking right outside were nice, and they take credit cards. But I can't agree with the positive reviews. The place was just okay, more like a two-star hotel. Breakfast was very basic, just bread, some olives, butter, and jam, and the coffee tasted really strange.

Mohammed was such a kind host, and his house is beautiful. We felt at home, enjoyed the amazing view across Azrou, and ate some of the best Tajines we've had so far. We had a wonderful time and would happily come back. Definitely recommend it.

The view was astonishing, and the service felt so warm that we were as comfortable as at our parents' house. We had the best time there. Thank you for everything.
