Astoria

The room had a smell, and I suspected the bedding hadn't been changed much. Music from the club next door kept me from sleeping. I was ready to get out of there if I could, and definitely wouldn't return.

The staff were pleasant and breakfast was good, but neither made up for the room. It smelled of cigarettes and mold, and there was no air conditioning or even a fan despite the heat. Some kind of pump or machine ran all night and made it hard to sleep. The toilet wasn't fixed to the floor and nearly tipped over; the bidet had a large hole that sent water everywhere and soaked my pants. The elevator did work. They only take cash, which wasn't mentioned when I booked. Not worth the price.

The room was small, and the balcony had no view, but the staff were very friendly and seemed to be doing their best. I'd come back if I were traveling on a budget.

I honestly didn't expect to like it this much. The room was clean and the bed really comfy, and breakfast was outstanding. The staff were nice, and the location is right by the T1 tram stop. The Wi-Fi had been working perfectly, then stopped. I'd still choose this place again!
