My Loft Anfa

Getting around was easy since the hotel is in the centre. We stayed two nights, but sleeping or relaxing was almost impossible with noise coming from everywhere, including upstairs, next door and outside, even with the shutters and windows closed. The room was a decent size. The bathroom felt tired, and the toilet was noisy, with plumbing issues.

I booked a room at Myloft through booking.com and had a confirmed reservation, but when I reached the lobby the receptionist said there were no rooms left. She was rude and disrespectful. She told me that if I wasn't happy, she wouldn't do anything and would leave me in the lobby all night. Then she stopped speaking to me and ignored me for over an hour. Despite several requests, she didn't put me in touch with the hotel manager. They seemed to use overbookings to move guests to another hotel owned by the same person or run by the same manager. The proposed hotel was 20 minutes from Myloft, with poorer rooms and facilities, no included transport so I'd have to pay for another taxi, and no breakfast facility even though breakfast had been included before. This happened during a curfew, when we weren't supposed to be outside after 8 PM. They gave no apology. I strongly suggest avoiding this place; they use overbooking to fill their hotels around Casablanca. This was the worst booking experience I've ever had, and my reservation felt like a total scam using the MyLoft profile to route customers elsewhere.

BEWARE. The suite was decent and the location made it easy to take the 9E bus, about 15 minutes down Anfa Blvd to the Medina. But after we got home, we found several large, fake credit card charges from our first day in Morocco. This was the only time we used that card, and Chase noticed the charges and contacted us. Your experience could be different, but check your statements carefully if you book here.

The owners have changed, and the service is now very low quality. The breakfast was the worst you could get there, and nothing you ask for is available.
