Mad Camel Villa

We stayed at MAD CAMEL Villa for four days over Eid al-Fitr, and had one unpleasant surprise after another. The worst problem was the rental car arranged through the hotel. They offered us an expensive car and said we wouldn't find one elsewhere, but it had no registration papers. We were told we could drive while waiting for them, then the police stopped us several times and we spent hours waiting for the owner. The car later broke down, and help took even more time to arrive. The owner wouldn't return our payment or reimburse the fuel we'd paid for but hadn't used. Since the hotel arranged the rental, the manager should have stepped in, but she stopped answering our calls. We had to give up on that car and rent another despite already having paid. We also waited over 30 minutes for the hotel shuttle. The cleaning lady almost never came, so check whether you've been charged for cleaning. Wi-Fi was very slow or unavailable, the TV reception was poor, and the toilet couldn't be used. Its broken handle left me stuck in there for quite a while (see photo). We tried ordering a sandwich from the restaurant on arrival and regretted it. I can't recommend this place anymore.

Had a great day at the secret spot for Flatland. Miloud and Liloo were kind and professional, thank you both.

Beautiful place and excellent service.

Really disappointed.
