The staff were kind and smiled, and both the location and breakfast were okay. But the hotel isn’t maintained well, there wasn’t much cleaning, and one evening we had no hot water. It feels like time stopped ten years ago. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is the hotel’s saving grace, just a stone’s throw from the medina. But construction behind the property made it hard to relax, with industrial drilling waking us at 8 a.m. Breakfast was simple but pleasant, and the server, a lovely lady, was the only truly warm part of the experience. The beds were comfortable, but housekeeping seemed to be on holiday. Our towels were changed once in six days, the bins were never emptied, and the room was never cleaned. I ended up sweeping the floors myself, and should have invoiced them. The hotel has what they might call “vintage charm,” but it really felt worn out and in need of repairs. The pool was an off-putting shade of green when we arrived. We were told it was “to match the plants,” which is one way to explain algae. It cleared a little during our stay, but not enough for me to risk coming out with a new species of rash. There were smashed windows and ripped tablecloths too. The biggest letdown was the advertising. The photos promised a boutique, luxurious feel, with chic throws, stylish cushions, and sparkling glassware. In real life, the place was sparsely decorated and soulless, like it had been staged for photos once and the props later sold on eBay.

Good guys, and the pizza was nice :)) Abdu saamad is a legend.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend 👍👍
