The hosts made leaving feel like saying goodbye to people we knew. They welcomed us like we’d come home, and were thoughtful and easy to reach without hovering. That really made the stay special. The riad is clean and cozy, set in the medina with everything a short walk away. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and made with care. The paratha was the standout for me, and I’m quite sure they’re the only ones serving freshly squeezed juice. Mornings felt especially refreshing because of it. The couple running the place are the reason it stands out. I’d recommend this riad without hesitation for both the stay and the people.

We had to leave before breakfast for an early flight, so they arranged a taxi and packed us some delicious bread to take along. The breakfast itself was delicious too. The host family is lovely and made us feel at home. From the rooftop terrace, there’s a beautiful, peaceful view over Fés. If the terrace is closed, just ask and they’ll open it.

The room was nicely decorated, and breakfast was good. The landlord and his wife were warm and kind. The place is right in the Center of Medina, yet easy to find, especially from the Blue Gate. It would have been nearly perfect if the room had shower gel, Shampoo, and its own hairdryer. Syukron ☺️

The family running this Riad were friendly and helpful. They even did our laundry for a small fee and served breakfast earlier than usual for us. It was generous and carefully prepared, and our room was quiet and comfortable. The location is one of the best in the Medina, near Bab Boujloud and lots of restaurants. Getting there was simple: take a taxi from the airport or train station to Bab Boujloud, then look up Derb Serraj on Google Maps. On that street, find the Riad Louna sign and follow the blue corridor it points to. At the end, turn left and walk about 20 meters. Riad Dar Fes Huda is on the right.

Ahmed set up a workshop for us at dar al hiraf, covering Zellij(mosaic), pottery, sewing, and Arabic calligraphy. It was well worth visiting.
