The room was decent, a little small, but the bed was comfy and there was AC. The building is over 200 years old and has a nice terrace. It was convenient to have several sit-down restaurants nearby, and the service was really good. The location is right in the Medina and pretty close to the Blue Gate. Breakfast was served, though I was disappointed that it had little, if any, protein.

Sidi Mohammad, who manages the house, gave us a map and a quick explanation of the city layout. He also arranged our airport transport both ways. We stayed at Dar Houdou for 5 days and had an amazing time. The dar is beautiful, with great Zeliij tile work, and breakfast was delicious. The room was very comfortable. You can get back easily because it’s close enough to find your way, yet far enough away to avoid the noise. The location really can’t be beat. 10/10, I’d absolutely stay again.

The breakfast was amazing, and the place was spotless. It’s a very nice riad right in the old medina, easy to find. The host was a big help too.

Right in the heart of the medina, yet the guesthouse is very quiet. The rooms are lovely and tastefully furnished, and each has its own shower, toilet, and sink. There’s a kitchen available, and the hosts are friendly. I’d happily recommend it.
