Guesthouse Dar Othmane

The breakfast did the job, though I would've liked a little more variety. The host also helped arrange a long excursion to Fez and Merzouga, and we were more than happy with it. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the roof terrace lovely. Guesthouse Dar Othmane looked after us well. It's a couple of minutes down from the blue gate, close to taxis and some nice restaurants, with a pleasant downhill walk through the old medina. Many thanks, and see you again Inshallah!

Hicham's help made the stay for us. He sorted out recommendations, contacts, guides, restaurants, food, and drinks. The place itself is beautiful and clean, with amazing views right in the heart of Medina. Nothing negative to say, 10/10.

Hicham and Imad speak good English and were really helpful. Their mother came by in the morning and made us breakfast, and they even took our laundry to be washed and folded. The riad was clean, well located, and had plenty of bedrooms, all with air conditioning.

The price is very fair and the rooms are quite okay, so it's a decent budget option. The staff were really nice, though finding the place at night was difficult, as it is for travellers in fez generally. At the start we had a pretty annoying experience with people approaching us while we had our bags. Don't trust them, they mislead you and then ask for money.
