Hotel Cascade

We felt like we were being scammed. There was no tableware, not even glasses or napkins, unless we asked. Service was awful, and the overpriced food was poor, with no accompaniments like olives or herbs. A can of soda cost 30 Dirham. The 75 Dirham nicoise had a tiny bit of grated salad and one eighth of a boiled egg, with no tuna or anything else. We paid in a stairwell as we left, and the waiter, who was also touting on the street, asked for a tip. We refused. It was the worst place we went to and our only bad experience in Fez. Avoid it.

Right in the center of Fez, with amazing food and lovely service. The Tajine with plums was especially good. We'll be back!

Lovely views and good service. A nice place to have a drink.

We had dinner on the upper terrace and got hit with an extra service charge of 100 Durham on a 200 Durham bill. That’s a 50 percent fee, and it wasn’t listed on the menu. It felt like a waiter’s scam. Don’t go there.
