Riad Noumidya

The garden is walled, with lots of places to sit around a large, deep pool. There’s some traffic noise and construction in the garden, though for a big-city stay it’s still quite pleasant. Apart from the morning call to prayer, we barely heard anything in the bedroom, even with the door open while we slept. The staff and the Belgian proprietor were very friendly. Parking just outside the gate on a parallel street felt safe, and dinner at the riad came in generous portions. Breakfast was made to order and excellent. This is a converted mansion with plenty of space. We paid a little extra for the deluxe room, which had a huge bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom opened onto a balcony overlooking the garden and pool, with room for 30 people. Everything was clean and tidy, and the beds were excellent.

We stayed for two nights and were struck by how beautiful the villa was. The pool in the back garden was large, clean, and lovely, and our room was tidy with a big terrace. Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. Zara greeted us warmly and was especially polite and friendly throughout. We liked nearly everything, though the towels were the one letdown. Thanks for the great service.

The street-facing room does get traffic noise, though it quiets down around 11 pm. The garden and pool are lovely, and the staff were friendly and did their best to meet our requests. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast, included in the room price, had a great selection and was delicious. We also enjoyed dinner, which cost extra. The Dar is stunning. I highly recommend Riad Noumidya.

The pool is fantastic, and it’s easy to order food and drinks wherever you like. The Riad is clean, peaceful, and well cared for. Being close to both the Medina and the airport made it a good place to unwind after days of walking around. The only issue was unstable WiFi.
