The loud bar music and people shouting made it almost impossible to sleep. It went on until about 4 or 5 in the morning, when the bar closed. My room was warm and clean, but the bathroom needed maintenance and there was no hot water. At the front desk, the woman was rude and unfriendly, rushed straight into the price without a smile, and didn’t let me speak. Breakfast wasn’t included, even though the room was overpriced, and they don’t take cards, so bring cash.

There was no fridge in the room, even though I was promised one when I booked, and they never brought it or seemed interested in sorting it out. The entire stay felt like guests were a bother. When I arrived, I waited almost 30 minutes at reception while the employee stayed on the phone discussing his personal life and ignored me. The hotel also has no food supply of its own, kitchen, or basic food service. They buy food from outside depending on how many guests are staying, which seems unprofessional for a hotel charging full rates. The staff were careless and impolite, and I never felt respected or properly acknowledged. Service, facilities, and basic customer care all failed. One of my worst stays, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The security guards were the worst part of the pub, bar, and club at set club. They were very ignorant and rude, using an aggressive way of handling the entrance, so be prepared for humiliation before getting in. There was no manager available to complain to. I spoke by phone with someone responsible, who said he knew the guards were rude, that they were stressed at work, and that he couldn’t do anything. He even said they might treat me worse because I complained. I was shocked, since I expected the place to be more professional. The staff inside the pub were friendly. The DJ wasn’t very good and basically played music from YouTube. There wasn’t much choice of drinks, and the prices seemed a bit high for the place, maybe because it’s the only spot in ifrane serving alcohol.

The rooms were nice, but neither they nor the rest of the place were properly heated. They switched on the heat when we arrived, though the rooms and water still never got very warm. The service also felt poor and unwelcoming. It was the only place in Morocco where we had this experience.
