Oasis Lodges

We had such a positive stay at Oasis Lodge and are already looking forward to coming back very soon. omayma made breakfast a treat each morning with her warm hospitality, and samira cooked us truly exceptional eggs. We also enjoyed chatting with walyde, the restaurant manager. He was very professional and made sure lunch went smoothly. Everyone made us feel welcome. We booked three nights but stayed just one. There wasn't much to do, especially with kids when it was raining. The indoor pool at the aqua-park, about a 10-minute walk away, was closed. The park isn't part of the hotel, so you can't use it whenever you need to, and it seemed more like a public pool. Breakfast was poor and the coffee was undrinkable. The minibar was overpriced, so the stay wasn't worth what we paid. They said it was high season, though maybe summer is when they have better options. Some people also complained that there's nothing to do here except drive to the Medina and walk around.

Nadya was kind, and the breakfast buffet was the one positive, though it was only okay and not especially impressive. We stayed with our children and were disappointed by the high price for so little to do. There were no activities or entertainment for kids or adults, and no Christmas decorations, so it felt like staying at home rather than in a hotel. The pool wasn't heated and we couldn't use it during our stay. Apart from sleeping and eating, there was nothing else to do. The food didn't taste good, and for a fraction of the cost you could get a much better and more varied breakfast at a small Medina restaurant.

Breakfast was busy, but nadya stayed calm, attentive, and kind while looking after us. Her warm smile and attention to detail made our mornings feel special. The restaurant manager also deserves thanks. He clearly cared about guests, and his friendly manner and great sense of humor made meals more enjoyable. He's a Manchester United fan and I'm not, since we support rival teams, but we laughed about it 😵😂😁. Check-in was smooth and professional, and they welcomed us with tea and pastries. My room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped. The food was delicious and nicely presented, served in a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The one frustrating part was communicating a simple request to a housekeeper who didn't speak English, so it wasn't taken care of. Basic language training for the housekeeping team could improve things for international guests. I had a delightful stay and would recommend the hotel for its comfort, food, and welcoming feel. With a little improvement in staff communication in the rooms, it would be perfect. I'm already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, see u next year...
