The breakfast was all right, and the staff serving it were good. The female staff we encountered were generally nice. The male management, though, were aggressive and impolite, and the manager on duty when our whole group checked in was rude and shouted at a woman who was trying to get clarification. Coordination between the hotel and airline was awful. Many people couldn’t leave for two days because the airline hadn’t booked us in time. For another night, the hotel told us to get confirmation from the airline ourselves. We tried, but were told to leave our rooms by 2:00 pm or face a $50 fine. When I first entered my room, the toilet had clearly been used, with tissue and urine still in it. Disgusting. I don’t know whether that’s just part of Morocco, but this was my worst hotel experience. I’ll never come back. I can’t help wondering if the hotel gets some kind of deal or bonus to be the go-to place for flight cancellations.

The food kept this from being a one-star stay, and at least there were no bed bugs. Dinner was fine. The room was filthy, with lots of hair in the bathroom, a used glass, marks on the mirror, and a bed that looked like it had been used. Our flight was delayed until the next day, so we ended up here for the night.

The room was filthy and neglected: thick dust everywhere, a rusty bathtub, cracked walls, a stained toilet, torn lampshades marked with nicotine, dirty mirrors, and a huge spider waiting for us. The parking area and lobby were dark, dirty, and falling apart too. No one helped with our suitcases, the hallway lights barely worked, and plaster was coming off the walls. The all-inclusive offer was a joke. The pool bar was shut, while the indoor bar had five half-empty sodas and one vodka that smelled awful. For what we paid, the experience was shocking. Those 70+ one-star reviews are telling the truth, and the place should be shut down immediately. Stay far away if you value your time and money. Any positive review is a lie.

The place was filthy from the moment we arrived. Blood on the sheets, marks on the walls, dirty cups and plates, and flies all over the cold food in the dining hall. The toilet was stained, the towels were dirty even after we asked for replacements, and there were flies in the cups. The sheets weren’t changed. The building was old and dusty, and the reception staff were rude. We booked all-inclusive, but sometimes we had to buy drinks just to get any service. At checkout I was hit with a string of charges, including payment for drinks I’d already paid for. I paid rather than argue, then a receptionist told me the bar staff had actually charged double per drink, 180MAD, about £15. They still didn’t want to refund us. The hallway lights don’t come on automatically, so the corridors are very dark. It felt unsafe, like someone could be waiting out of sight. This is a health hazard and the whole place needs to close down. Absolutely disgusting, do not stay here!
