The staff made our stay from the first welcome to checkout. We were greeted with the famous mint tea and pastries, and everyone, including the ladies who looked after our room, was attentive and very friendly. It’s a lovely quiet oasis in a busy part of the city.

Vegan options are available! We loved our stay, and the rooftop was a great place to catch both sunset and sunrise. The property is gorgeous, and the clean rooms are beautifully done. We were welcomed with mint tea, given a phone to use and a map of sights and activities, and even asked what scent we wanted on our pillows. The staff and management had thought through all the little details.

Our room was a lovely place to sleep and recharge during the day, with a huge comfortable bed and cloud-soft pillows. The air conditioning struggled a bit when it got very hot, though. The riad itself is small, with just a few rooms around a courtyard pool and a huge palm tree. Inside, the busy medina sounds give way to birds, the call to prayer five times a day, and the occasional cockerel, who never got too tiresome. Breakfast and other meals are served across the lane at Riad Si Said. Breakfast is a little limited by European standards, but tasty, and Aziz serves it with gentle charm, a genuine smile, and a hand on his heart. A few tiny shops nearby have warm, friendly people. Salaam Omar and Mohammed, who sold us nice souvenirs at decent prices. The old town's packed narrow lanes, mopeds, donkey carts, vendors, noise, and crowds are a big part of what makes Marrakesh feel alive. I’ve come to love the city, and when we return, we’ll stay at Riad Blanc again.

Fatimeh and the other staff gave us excellent service at our anniversary dinner, and the meal was outstanding. We loved the intimate courtyard and its dramatic lighting. We’d happily try the hotel and its services on our next visit.

For my 40th birthday, my wife and I stayed here, and on the morning itself I was surprised with a delicious gluten-free cake. The gluten-free food was delicious too, and better catered for than at most places in the UK. We had an amazing stay, with staff who couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Definitely recommend 👍
