Taxis are usually waiting outside, and local shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Soltana Résidence is quiet and private, just beyond the city centre, which makes it a great place to stay in Marrakech.

The listing photos give a very misleading impression. After booking online, I arrived past check-in time to find the room still unready, with soap and hairballs across the floor. The hallways were dark and creepy, and there was no reception desk or hotel sign. It felt like someone had dug a hole and decided to charge for a hotel.

For a very reasonable price, you get a beautiful apartment, nice service, and cool pools. The one drawback is that it’s a little away from the places you want to go, and finding InDrive drivers can be difficult.
