The location isn’t right in the centre, but taxis are cheap and the medina is a quick ride away. We had a really cozy room, kind and helpful staff, a great breakfast, and a lovely warm pool in the spa. Everything worked out perfectly for us.

Imane and Mohssine helped make our stay at Hotel Cesar so enjoyable. Imane handled a problem with our room quickly and thoroughly, and was a delight to be around. Mohssine was just as friendly and helpful, and made our son’s time in Marrakesh special. The staff were wonderful, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

This place is nowhere near a five-star experience. The supposed spa is just a lukewarm pool. They say there’s a hamam if you book a scrub or massage, but you can’t actually book one, and there’s no sauna. They also hold private parties in the restaurant for outside guests and play music very loudly until 1 a.m., even when staying guests complain. They overcharge for things, including 70 dirham for a bottle of water, and at checkout they claimed towels were missing to try to get extra money. It all felt like a scam. Two different receptionists gave me different prices for an airport transfer. I stayed in cheaper places during my trip around Morocco and never had hosts act so unprofessional or scummy. They treated customers like animals. I can’t understand how this place got five stars.

The breakfast had lots of variety, and the location was convenient. Our rooms were modern, the hotel was clean, and the service was excellent. The staff were especially courteous and kind. I enjoyed staying here with my family and would come back.

Yahya was the main person we had to deal with, and his dismissive, unsympathetic attitude made us feel unwelcome. The service was shockingly poor, and this was easily the worst holiday I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, and the experience has put me off returning to Marrakesh. Even though my reservation clearly said seven days, staff insisted I’d only booked three. They also said Love Holidays was a scam and that they no longer worked with them, which felt alarming and completely unprofessional. I was told a small bottle of water would cost £10, though I overheard staff telling other guests that bottled water was free. The inconsistency and dishonesty were appalling.
