Dar Attajmil

The breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel is exceptional value. It’s a beautiful place in the heart of the medina, surprisingly quiet for its location. Still, expect street noise late at night and the call to prayer early in the day, as other reviewers have mentioned. We found it irritating that you have to ring the bell to get through the front door, and a couple of times we had to ring two or three times. Once, an alarm went off in our room in the middle of the night, but nobody came to help, even when we rang. That was concerning, since we wouldn’t have had a key to get back into the hotel. The people and hotel are lovely, and fixing a couple of small things would make the stay excellent.

What makes me want to return to Dar Attajmil is how much heart the whole team has. Lucrezia, Céline, Ibrahim, Aziz, Fatma, and everyone else I met were caring and full of good energy, as well as service-minded. This is my favorite of the four riads I’ve stayed at in Marrakech. The room was small but clean and beautiful, and a great price. The architecture is gorgeous, and both the peaceful rooftop and courtyard are lovely. The Wi-Fi worked in my room during client meetings without a problem. I’ll definitely come back on my next visit. Choukran. 🙏🏾

Said and Aziz were great hosts and really accommodating. The staff were friendly, and the food was great too.

After a long day of noise and bustle in the city, the hotel felt wonderfully relaxed. The architecture and staff were incredible, and we found the place magical and unique. The location and service were lovely, though the rooms are quite small. Being near other places downtown meant we could hear guests from rooftop bars staying up late and making noise. We also heard the call to prayer at 6am, so don’t expect to sleep in. Wi-Fi was completely unreliable, with the connection dropping after five minutes and making calls or internet access difficult. Breakfast wasn’t very varied, but it was sufficient.
