Overpriced and a bad place. My husband cheated here. Don’t stay here. Morocco sucks...

BEWARE: Dar Fakir no longer exists. The hotel had initially invited us as bloggers and photographers, but nobody told us the riad was closed. Ms. Wingendorf didn’t even email us about it, so we ended up in Marrakech on a Sunday night with nowhere to stay. The service was the worst, and the rudeness was unbelievable!

The place no longer exists, but our booking was never cancelled. At 9 pm on Sunday, we were left out on the street with our suitcases and nowhere to sleep. It’s hard to imagine a worse start to a holiday.

The staff were really rude and grumpy, and I’d strongly advise against staying here unless, like me, you have nowhere else because you didn’t book ahead.
